G's Sister Restoration by ThaHellion G's Sister Restoration by ThaHellion
Don't know why it is called G's Sister, but my aunt sent me the picture on the left and asked if I could do a portrait from it, and I told her I could do her one better and restore it. When I received the image it was titled "G's Sister".

This should be in the photo restoration section, but I could only find the photo-manipulation section. So there it will reside.

Just to show you how incompetent the photo restoration places are, my aunt took this to several places and they all said they would try their best, but they couldn't promise anything. Hows that for confidence.

Not bad. The main lack of confidence would probably be that a photo like this require some artistic vision to complete, and mainly in the left eye, the rest doesn't look all that difficult to fix, it's the eye that would be the difficulty, but obviously if you have any form of creative visual eye, that also shouldn't be too much of a problem.
Nice work.

Is there a way you could send me those pictures? I could take a look at them and give you my honest opinion on whether I think they can be restored. I might even offer to restore them.

If a 19 year old (well, practically 20) year old amateur tells you it can be done, what do you think a 40+ year old professional will tell you?

On my main page there is an email link, or if you want a more secure email you can send me a private message and I will tell you my university email.

Alright, you're amazing, you should like apply at kinko's or something and be a pro. I couldn't see any signs of fabrication in the altered image. I have an old picture of my mom's grandparents. If I scan it, think you can take a whack at it?

Sure, can't guarantee it will be done within the next month though. If I do you have to show it to your art teachers and prove to them that an 18 year old probably has more talent, but don't say it in such a spiteful way.
